Columbia Sportswear contacted us to conduct a social and in-store giveaway campaign to promote the new line of winter wear. We were given $5,000 to spend across social channels and to divvy up giveaway prizes of $500 Columbia gift cards. I created localized content for the campaign in Whitefish, Montana, and launched the campaign on Instagram and Facebook. We had over 300 submissions online and 1,500 in-store. As a result, we gained around 500 new followers on Instagram and used the giveaway as a vehicle to drive more customers into the store.

During my time with the Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Reds in Goodyear, Arizona, we identified the need to attract more guests on Sundays. Sundays at Goodyear Ballpark are Kids Days, so I created a grassroots campaign to get the elementary schools of Goodyear involved on Sundays. Kids from select grades from two elementary schools in Goodyear were given photos of either the Indians or Reds lineups, and assigned a player to draw. If the class was selected, their drawings replaced the lineup photos on the scoreboard for the game. The campaign was an instant success, and brought out nearly every kid and their family from the respective classes each Sunday. This promotion has since been adopted by the Cincinnati Reds at the Major League level.
